Vendor Agreement

Last updated: 20 October 2026

This Vendor Agreement is between GulioLetu (“we”, “us”) and the person or business that registers as a vendor (“you”). By registering as a vendor or selling on GulioLetu, you accept this agreement together with our Terms and Conditions.

1. Becoming a vendor

  • You must be 18 or older and legally able to sell in Tanzania.
  • Give true information about yourself or your business, including a working phone number and email. We may ask for ID or business documents.
  • We may approve, refuse or limit any vendor account.
  • You must hold any licence, registration or permit needed for the goods you sell.

2. Your store and listings

  • List only products you own or are allowed to sell.
  • Descriptions, prices, photos and stock must be accurate. Photos must show the real product or be properly licensed.
  • Choose the correct category for each product.
  • You must not sell prohibited items (see the Prohibited Items Policy).
  • For land and property listings, you must have a genuine right to sell or let, and must provide proof when we ask.

3. Orders and delivery

  • Respond to new orders promptly, ideally within 24 hours.
  • You are responsible for packing and delivering the goods safely and on time, as set out in the Delivery and Shipping Policy.
  • Update order status honestly in your dashboard.
  • If you cannot fulfil an order, cancel it quickly and tell the buyer.

4. Returns, refunds and complaints

You must follow our Returns, Refunds and Cancellations policy and cooperate with our complaints process. Refunds that result from your error, faulty goods or goods not as described are your responsibility and may be deducted from your balance.

5. Commission and fees

  • We charge a commission on each completed sale. The current rate is shown in your vendor dashboard.
  • We may change the commission or fees with advance notice. New rates apply to orders placed after the change date.
  • Commission is deducted automatically before your earnings are added to your balance.

6. Payouts

  • Your earnings are shown in your dashboard after an order is completed.
  • You can request a withdrawal when your balance reaches the minimum amount shown in your dashboard.
  • Payouts are made by the methods we offer, such as mobile money or bank transfer, after we review and approve the request.
  • We may hold or reverse payouts linked to fraud, a dispute, a refund or a breach of this agreement.

7. Taxes

You are responsible for your own taxes, business registration, licences and receipts required by Tanzanian law, including any VAT or income tax that applies to you.

8. Customer data

You may use buyers’ personal data only to fulfil orders and provide support. You must keep it secure, must not sell or share it, and must follow our Privacy Policy and the data protection laws of Tanzania.

9. Intellectual property

You keep the rights to your content, and give us permission to display it on GulioLetu and in our promotions. You promise you have the right to use everything you upload.

10. Conduct

Do not mislead buyers, manipulate reviews, take buyers away from the platform to avoid commission, or harass other users or our staff.

11. Suspension and ending this agreement

  • We may suspend or remove your store or products if you break this agreement, if we receive repeated complaints, or if we suspect fraud.
  • You may close your store at any time after completing open orders.
  • Sections that should continue after ending (such as payments owed, refunds and liability) will continue to apply.

12. Liability and indemnity

You are responsible for your products and your dealings with buyers. You agree to compensate us for losses or claims caused by your listings, your goods or your breach of this agreement. We are not liable for lost sales or indirect losses, except where the law does not allow us to exclude liability.

13. Disputes

Please first contact us so we can try to solve any dispute in good faith. If it cannot be solved, it will be handled under the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, in its courts.

14. Changes

We may update this agreement. We will tell vendors of important changes. Continuing to sell after a change means you accept it.
