1. About us
GulioLetu is an online marketplace based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. We provide a platform where independent vendors sell products to buyers. Contact: info@gulioletu.com, +255 753 786 858.
2. Our role
We are a marketplace. Unless a product page clearly says otherwise, the contract of sale is between you (the buyer) and the vendor. We help with orders, payments, support and dispute resolution, but we do not own or inspect the products listed by vendors.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian’s permission.
- Give true and up-to-date information.
- Keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us immediately if you think your account has been used without your permission.
4. Products, prices and availability
- Prices are in Tanzanian shillings (TZS) and are set by vendors.
- We work to keep listings accurate, but mistakes can happen. If a price or description is wrong, the vendor or we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
- Stock is not guaranteed until the vendor confirms your order.
5. Orders and payment
An order is accepted when the vendor confirms it. Payment options are shown at checkout and may include cash on delivery and mobile money. Do not pay outside the methods shown by GulioLetu or agreed in your order.
6. Delivery, returns and cancellations
These are explained in our Delivery and Shipping Policy and Returns, Refunds and Cancellations page, which form part of these terms.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- sell or try to buy prohibited items (see our Prohibited Items Policy);
- post false, misleading, abusive or unlawful content;
- try to hack, damage or overload the website;
- use another person’s identity or payment details;
- collect data about other users without permission.
8. Reviews and content
When you post a review, message or image, you confirm it is your own and lawful. You allow us to display it on the site. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
9. Intellectual property
The GulioLetu name, logo, design and site content belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission. Vendors remain responsible for the rights to the images and text they upload.
10. Liability
We do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of items sold by vendors, for losses caused by vendors’ actions, or for indirect losses, lost profit or interruptions of the website. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned.
11. Suspension and closing accounts
We may suspend or close an account, or remove a listing, if these terms are broken, if we suspect fraud, or if the law requires.

13. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. We encourage you to first use our complaints process. Unresolved disputes may be taken to the courts of Tanzania.
