Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Last updated: 20 October 2026

1. Cancelling an order

  • You can cancel free of charge before the vendor dispatches the order. Contact us or the vendor as soon as possible.
  • After dispatch, cancellation is only possible if the vendor agrees. Return costs may apply.
  • A vendor may cancel an order if an item is out of stock or the price was listed incorrectly. You will receive a full refund of anything you paid.

2. Returns

You may ask to return an eligible item within 7 days of delivery if:

  • the item is faulty, damaged or not as described;
  • you received the wrong item; or
  • the item is unused, in its original packaging, with all accessories and receipts.

Report damaged, faulty or wrong items within 48 hours of delivery and send clear photos.

3. Items that cannot be returned

  • Perishable goods such as fresh food.
  • Opened cosmetics, perfumes, personal care and hygiene products, underwear and similar items, unless faulty.
  • Medicines and medical supplies that have been opened or used.
  • Custom-made or specially ordered items.
  • Items damaged by misuse after delivery.
  • Land, property and services (these follow the terms agreed with the vendor).

4. How to request a return

  1. Contact us (phone +255 753 786 858, WhatsApp +255 753 786 858 or email info@gulioletu.com) with your order number, the item and the reason.
  2. Attach photos if the item is damaged or wrong.
  3. We will confirm with the vendor and tell you how to send the item back.
  4. Keep proof of postage or hand-over.

5. Who pays for return delivery

If the item is faulty, damaged or wrong, the vendor pays. If you simply change your mind and the vendor accepts the return, you pay the return delivery.

6. Refunds

  • Once the vendor receives and checks the returned item, the refund is approved or declined, and we will tell you.
  • Approved refunds are paid within 7 to 14 days, using the same method you paid with where possible (for example mobile money or cash).
  • Delivery fees are refunded only if the return is due to the vendor’s error.

7. Replacements

If you prefer a replacement and the item is in stock, the vendor will send one instead of a refund.

8. If you disagree

If you are not satisfied with the outcome, see Complaints and Dispute Resolution.

These rules do not take away any rights you have under the laws of Tanzania.
